Campus renovations continue

07/06/2016

Monday, the main entrance to the parking lot of Uniontown Hospital from McClellandtown Road (Route 21) will be closed as work continues on the first phase of construction of an exterior campus renovation to provide the most convenient parking for patients and visitors.

Construction began in mid-June on the parking lots on the west end of the hospital campus between Delaware Avenue and McClellandtown Road along Easy Street.

The construction is expected to continue into early August, with temporary parking provided for patients and visitors in alternate locations on the campus, including parking in Lot 6, along Delaware Avenue that is normally reserved for staff.

The closure of the entrance to the parking lot from McCellandtown Road will necessitate drivers using either Berkeley or Easy streets to access the campus. Once patients and visitors reach Delaware Avenue, they will find signage directing them to open parking lots. Hospital personnel will also be available during daylight hours to assist.

The site work is part of a campus-wide construction plan created to optimize the patient and visitor experience.
