Stomp The Habit

WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital is an entirely tobacco-free campus and we also enforce a tobacco-free shift for all our employees.

To protect our patients, visitors and staff from the harmful effects of second-hand smoke, smoking is not permitted anywhere on Uniontown Hospital property. All WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital facilities and grounds, including parking lots, and other outdoor locations such as hospital-owned sidewalks, are tobacco free. WVU Medicine Uniontown Hospital has no designated smoking areas. If you choose to smoke or use tobacco products, you cannot do so on the hospital campus.

As part of our effort to make a healthy difference in every life we touch, the hospital moved to a tobacco-free environment in March 2015. We made this change not only for the benefit of our facility and our patients, but for the healthful benefits a tobacco-free lifestyle will have for our staff.

We are committed to being as healthy as we can be and making a healthy difference in every life we touch, and that commitment extends to you! Please join us in Stomping the Habit!
