Physical Rehabilitation
Physical Rehabilitation provides multi-disciplinary rehabilitation services to meet the needs of patients who
are experiencing pain, declines in function or mobility, or communication or swallowing difficulties. Rehabilitation services are available for Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy needs.
Comprehensive rehabilitation services are provided throughout our organization in our acute care, skilled nursing unit, inpatient rehabilitation unit, and outpatient settings. Rehabilitation services are available for most medical conditions and for those over the age of three.
In addition to traditional therapy services, we also offer the following outpatient specialties:
- Speech Therapy intervention for swallowing deficits (including Vital Stim and DPNS - Deep Pharyngeal Nerve Stimulation), language and communication deficits, and developmental delays.
- Occupational Therapy intervention for splinting, low vision and activities of daily living needs.
- Physical Therapy for low back and neck pain, lymphedema management, urinary incontinence treatment and wound care.
