Safety Net Access Program
Uniontown Hospital has established a charity-care program to assist uninsured and underinsured patients in meeting their financial obligations. The program, called the Safety Net Access Program, is available to residents of Fayette County. It is intended to provide medically necessary healthcare at no cost or at a discounted cost to community residents who meet established income guidelines.
To qualify for this program, a patient (or family member):
- Must complete a Safety Net Access Program application
- Provide proof of annual income and dependent information
- May be required to apply for Medical Assistance
- Must arrange a meeting with a Financial Care Consultant to review all possible coverage options
