Easy Access to a Variety of Diagnostic Services

The Outpatient Diagnostic Center offers a variety of routine diagnostic services*, including:

Laboratory Services – Has your physician ordered laboratory tests, such as blood work or urinalysis? At the Outpatient Diagnostic Center, you can get it done quickly and be on your way in no time at all. “Walk in;” no appointment required.

Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging Services – The Outpatient Diagnostic Center has all the latest tools to find out what’s going on – and what may be wrong – inside your body.

Services Include:

  • General X-Ray: Walk-in; no appointment required.
  • Digital Mammography: Please call for an appointment.
  • Ultrasound: Please call for an appointment.
  • Bone Density (DEXA) testing: Please call for an appointment.

EKG – Walk-in; no appointment required.

* Stat/urgent services are provided at Uniontown Hospital.

Outpatient Diagnostic Center Staff

While the Outpatient Diagnostic Center may be located outside Uniontown Hospital, it is supported full-time by experienced, board-certified Uniontown Hospital radiologists, pathologists, and technical staff.

Hours That Fit Into All Schedules

The Outpatient Diagnostic Center has hours that work for you. We’re open Monday through Friday from 6 AM to 6 PM and on Saturday from 7 AM to 3 PM.

Insurance Coverage

The Outpatient Diagnostic Center accepts most insurance plans. Plus, it is the only freestanding outpatient service in Fayette County that is fully accredited by JCAHO, licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, and approved by Highmark.

Directions to the Outpatient Diagnostic Center

From Brownsville – Follow Route 40 East and turn right onto Wayland Smith Drive, just before the Super 8 Motel, and follow it to the Outpatient Diagnostic Center at the corner of Wayland Smith Drive and Mary Higginson Lane.

From Uniontown – Follow Route 40 West and turn left onto Wayland Smith Drive, just after the Super 8 Motel, and follow it to the Outpatient Diagnostic Center at the corner of Wayland Smith Drive and Mary Higginson Lane.

From Connellsville – Follow Route 119 South to Route 40 West (Main Street) and turn left onto Wayland Smith Drive, just after the Super 8 Motel. Follow it to the Outpatient Diagnostic Center at the corner of Wayland Smith Drive and Mary Higginson Lane.
