Oncology Care Coordinator
For the newly diagnosed cancer patient, the Oncology Care Coordinator at Uniontown Hospital can:
- Provide answers to your questions and concerns.
- Work with your family doctor and cancer specialists to connect you to cancer services you need during and after treatment.
- Help prepare you for your visit to the radiation center and/or cancer specialist.
- Assist you and your family to learn about your illness by providing resources such as reading materials, videos and available services online and by telephone.
- Provide information about support groups and services in the community.
- Help with financial, transportation and work-related issues.
