Probably the closest caregiver relationship you will form while in the hospital is with the nurse providing your daily nursing care. Your nurse will work closely with your doctor and other medical specialists to provide quality patient care, and serve as your liaison to the many departments providing medical services and treatments. Please ask your nurse about any questions or concerns regarding your care.
Call System
Your nurse is always just a call-button away. To communicate with your nurse’s station, simply press the call button. Your nurse or nursing care assistant may come directly to your room or speak to you over the intercom. The bathroom also features call units that are activated by pull cords to be used in emergencies.
Student Nurses
Uniontown Hospital provides clinical experience and educational opportunities for students in various departments throughout the hospital. Services may be provided by a student who is under the supervision of a qualified instructor and/or hospital personnel. You have the right to refuse participation in such student clinical experiences.
