Boy Scouts to honor Uniontown Hospital CEO

Uniontown Hospital CEO Steve Handy

The Westmoreland-Fayette Council of the Boy Scouts of America announced Tuesday that Steven Handy, CEO at Uniontown Hospital, is their organization's 2015 Distinguished Citizen of the Year recipient for Fayette County.

Handy, who has worked to increase the partnership between the hospital and the community, including specific Scout-led initiatives, will be honored at a banquet held in late October.

Further details regarding those programs and the growing partnership between the Boy Scouts and Uniontown Hospital will be detailed in a later press release.

Please read the Boy Scouts press release, attached below the photo, for additional information regarding the honor.
